Shen Siyuan giant killing first round
I have seen Shen Siyuan play for 3 DATMOs now and back in the first DATMO his rating was only 2100++. He is now rated 2337 and made one of the biggest tournament upset in the Singapore Masters by beating top seed GM Zhang Zhong in the very first round. This game got my attention [...]
Singapore Masters Round 2
FM Lim Yee Weng beat his Singaporean opponent Teo Wei Xing (ELO 2193). He will meet tournament top seed GM Zhang Zhong(now under the Singaporean flag) in the third round.
IM Mas suffered his second defeat at the hands of the Chinese, Jia Haoxiang (ELO 2193). Mas will be meeting Teo Wei Xing the next round.
