The week-long ASEAN+ Youth Team Chess Championships 2007 is supported and sponsored by Masterskill College
of Nursing & Health together with the Education Ministry.
An allocation of RM100,000 has been set aside for the sponsorship programme to introduce scholastic chess in schools.

is also an avid fan of chess (even the College boardroom has chess sets). He also played in the very first Malaysian Open. I will dig up his games later to view
