I love Twitter!!
Sometimes when a new technology comes around it truly astounds you. Twitter is one such technology. I love how it can post to my blog almost immediately using phone SMS. I’ve registered with Twitter last year but never knew what it was about. That time I thought it was a pretty lame tool where people twitter about when they woke up, what they had for breakfast, go to work, take the bus etc etc. However I changed my mind. Now I’m impressed!! I’ve made numerous ad-hoc SMS post throughout the Stonemaster tourney and coming home I found each and every one of the SMS came out in this blog…

I don’t need WiFi. All I needed was just a handphone that can send SMS and a free Twitter account. Total spent on SMS was about RM 3 which I think it’s quite cheap for having live updates like this. So the trial chess results update via Twitter is a resounding success!!
Now I only wished I had a better phone. Typing out SMS style took so much time I did not have time to go around the tournament to take pictures!
