Chronicles of an Exorcism film I had the chance to go to Seremban to witness Colin Madhavan’s simul against 88 players. Thanks to Jax Tham whom I hitched a ride there.
Four Brothers download Contrary to what I first thought, the simul is open to ANYBODY, both strong or weak. We were the first people to reach the sales office which is spacious and suits pretty well to host a chess tournament. Also interesting was meeting Mr Hollywood – a participant who just foun out about the simul from the newspapers and wanted to challenge beat the ‘l**-si’ chessmaster (tranlated from Chinese – the pompous chessmaster)
I didn’t want to take part as even though I consider myself a patzer, I am a “strong patzer” and it would be unfair as I would have a good chance of beating Colin as he is handicapped with seconds to move and I have at least 10-15 minutes per move.
download Big Stan movie Superhero Movie movie download It so happened that they were shot of people to make up the 88 so I joined in. Colin said he did not mind losing when I told him (rather with too much ego) that it would be unfair as I can beat him.
High Anxiety dvd Ok, all this done for chess publicity is good for chess. I saw some reporters from major newspapers covering this event too.
So in total there are 88 players but I can see how taxing it can be. The entire Seremban school team came in a bus to take on Colin Madhavan. I would say they are of average strength and certainly not beginners. Not surprising that the games are hard fought and Colin tried his best not to lose.
I don’t have the full results because I left at around 1:20 pm because Jax had to rush back for his RSC classes. My game with Colin ended with a draw. Will post the game later when I reach home. Hard to post games on this PDA. Took lots of photos too. All this later ..
PS: With all this WiFi starting to pop up in common fast food shops, it’s certainlygetting easier to “connect” online anytime. But I have this funny (and irrational) thought that with so much radio waves bouncing around, we are going to get brain cancers much easier too

Hi, my name is Khalis and i participated in the stated event. I’m 12 years old and my game with him ended in a draw too. I think he got tired at approximately 2:00p.m? he began to ask for draws and advised other players to resign at around that time.

I think you mean to say that he advised those that were in totally losing positions to resign. That makes sense.
