Most memorable quote
When there are big events, I’m more interested in taking pictures of the event and getting the news instead of taking part in it. This is my most memorable quote from one of my opponents. It was in the Chervrolet tournament a few years back. I would normally take 5 minutes to walk around and take pictures of the Malaysian Open held at the same place before going back to my table. So usually my opponent would have started the game and clock and waited for me.
When I sat down against an opponent from South Africa she looked at me surprised and asked “Aren’t you the photographer ?” not expecting to play chess against someone like that
