Fritz 11
As usual I’m pretty behind time in this. Just tried out Fritz 11 for a few weeks and I really don’t see much improvement over the features compared to Fritz 8.
The calculation feature is plain silly. It’s just visualising the board and thinking of combination without moving the pieces. Nothing special about that.
Still, I suppose that the engine has become significantly stronger since version 8 so it “has to be better” 
. But to a patzer like me, it really makes no difference at all. Anyway, since it’s the latest version, it will be the main engine I use from now on.
