Got this SMS from Remis Aman:
U now have FIDE ID Code 5704278!
I was at the Taylor’s tournament and didn’t have a net connection to check.
Now having dinner at the mamak shop I checked FIDE website and saw that I indeed have a FIDE ID.
All the rated games were taken from the Selangor Open 2008. It’s funny that the games comprised 4 losses and 1 win against rated opposition.
Anyway it’ll be great if I can actually get a rating. However, I can’t think of any more rated I can take part. DATMO/AmBank is out of the question as I’ll be reporting for the event. Perhaps the Trengganu tourney in December?
