GM Zhang Zhong and his wife WGM Li Roufan is already here. There will be playing in a very strong chess team tomorrow.
There will be about 9 GMs taking part in this year’s DATMO.

He beat Korean Player,LEE Hyunil 21-18 , 13-21 , 21-13 in 58 minute. This means a Silver is secured for Malaysia!! I think this is the first ever Olympic Silver medal for Malaysia.

Amazing internet speeds
I think the fastest I’ve ever got on my home Streamyx is over 1000Kbp/s. This is what I got from the playing hall. Too bad the speedy WiFi will be gone when the Malaysian Open starts.

Yes! There is WiFi right now!!
Good news is that I’m getting free WiFi from the WCG event in the playing hall. Bad news is that the WCG event will end by the time DATMO starts. At least there’ll be 2 days of free WiFi.
