Li Chao set to be champ

Only one more round to go but it looks like Li Chao has the championship under wraps. I thought Li Chao’s hopes to become a two time Malaysian Open champ was dashed when he lost to Susanto Megaranto in the middle of the tournament. However Li Chao bounced back by winning every single game and conceding just one draw.

He is now ahead by one point with 8.5 points out of 10. He only needs a draw in the final round today to assure first place.
