Questions to ask chess players By GilaChess 14 August 2008 at 2:57 pm and have 1 Comment

There will be many IMs and GMs taking part in DATMO so this time, I hope, I will have the courage to set up some short interview with them.

Questions to ask:

1. When did you start playing chess?

2. How many hours do you spend on chess?

3. On a scale of 0-10 how do you rate DATMO?

4. What was your greatest tournament results?

5. Do you think playing chess can be a professional/full time profession ?

Please add if you can think of more..

    Hi Mr. Andrew,

I want to suggest some questions for the interview?

    1. How you prepare your calmness? Is it by meditation, tai chi or other self defense?

    2. Do you apply some ideas from books that are not focusing on chess like The Art of War by Sun Tzu, 33 Strategies of War by Robert Greene or Samurai Strategies?

    3. How you control your meal to be pyhsically and mentally fit for tournaments all year round?

    4. How far you trust your instinct than logic from sacle 1 to 10?(10 is completely trust oon instinct).

    thank you very much.
