From the looks of it, Li Chao has an active attacking position.
It’s white to move and Li Chao plays Qf4.
Let’s see what Fritz has to say about this position.
+3 normally means White is winning. Then again, that’s just a 2 minute evaluation from Fritz. Will Li Chao finally end Torre’s unbeaten run in the tournament so far ?

A song started to play in the tournament hall and it was obvious someone forgot to turn off his/her handphone.
Grim Reaper buy It kept ringing for an awkward 10 seconds and all the eyes of the players were zeroing on the source. It was from Emanuel Senador and he could not pretend it was not his phone anymore and turned it off. His opponent immediately extended his hand to accept Senador’s resignation.
The arbiters collected the score sheet. As simple as that. No questions asked.

Yet another Chinese GM (ELO 2487) in the PGMA who is kind of low key but currently in 5th place in the tournament. Relatively a late starter as he didn’t become active until he was 16.
