Last day and everyone seems to be in a jovial mood.
Li Chao is late and the whole bus is waiting for him. Indonesian IM Sebastian jokes that for waiting we should keep 10% of Li Chao’s winnings.
Jeepney - equivalent to Malaysia’s mini busses (when they were still around). Very common mode of transport in the Philippines.
One thing you noticed is that they drive on the ‘wrong’ side of the road!
Bus arrives early again and players have 30 minutes to kill.
Outside is crowded with people checking the results and press releases.
The press is allocated 3 computers all with internet access. Wish we had such coverage for our tournaments in Malaysia though.
As usual, the Chinese players all sit at their place even though it’s still early

It seems Zhou Weiqi is still suffering from severe headaches. Goh Wei Ming was asking for some aspirin for him in the early rounds. He plays Li Chao in the final round. More headache!
