The Chief Arbiter disallowed any electronic devices such as MP3 players and earphones which is sensible.
It’s quite possible to cheat by having an accomplice to tell you the moves remotely via an FM transmitter which can be picked up via earphones of an MP3 or radio player.
I have seen some players listening to songs in our weekend tournaments.
By the way, Jason Gonzales uses an iPod touch. It’s a nice music listening device with big screen to play videos and even has WiFi support.
