After the 3.5-0.5 trashing we received in the last two rounds it’s a good morale boost for the Malaysians to take out Dominican Republic by 2.5-1.5. Mas did commendably well beating GM Mateo Ramon on the White side of the Sicilian.

Yee Weng held IM Dominguez Jose to a draw.

Mok beat IM Hernandez Gustavo and Jimmy lost Jaquez Juan.

Round 6 however is going to be another tough round with Malaysia playing against Slovenia.
