Watching the game live
With the fantastic amount of pictures and live games coming out from Dresden, I’m glad I’m NOT there to “witness” the event. I’d rather be on my notebook with a live internet connection. Wish there were more active bloggers in Dresden that would use video and podcasts to liven the event a little more. Other than that, it’s already good experience following the event from the net.
Anyway here are the current positions of all the Malaysian players.

Is Edward’s opponent a female?
All boards look pretty much (except Edward’s board of course!) even to my untrained eye. Hope this round will end in Malaysia winning again.
Interesting to note Singapore’s board 1. Here’s an excerpt from ClosetGrandmaster’s live blog :-
For our Pinoy readers, you will note that Singapore has a familiar name on board one. It is, of course, IM Enrique Paciencia. Got a note from Iggy Dee this afternoon, Dresden time, who informs me that IM Paciencia may soon become a Singaporean citizen.
