This is the first time I’ve seen a local blog get this much International traffic. So far 9/10 visitors who are non-Malaysian is pretty impressive considering the KLOpen.blogspot.com website was not publicised anywhere except in this blog, and the other 3 bloggers blog.

Board 1 of Round 5 was one of the last few boards to finish last night.
Factotum video There were changes in the schedule of the tournament. It seems that the simul has been postponed to Sunday at the Legend Hotel so there were two rounds instead of one yesterday. After 5 rounds GM Anton Fillipov share the lead with IM Wang Rui. The two split the point when they met in Round 5. In the pictures above, GM Fillipov doesn’t seem happy with the draw. Perhaps he had a big advantage earlier? We’ll try to get the game online later today if possible.
