Recess: Schools Out I am happy to see any promotion for the junior chess players. This learning centre, Magic Tree, is offering scholarship to junior players to better their chess skills, As far as I remember this is the first time I’m seeing such a scholarship for scholastic chess. What’s more, it offers the services of a top national player.

That’s what Wang Rui’s face seem to say during this game. I immediately switched my camera to video mode to see if it was really a draw:-
Wang Rui looked at Anton expecting a draw acknowledgement but Anton played one more move..
GM Anton Fillipov emerged champion of the KL Chess Open with 7/9. IM Wang Rui finished with the same score but had to settle for second place based on tie break.
