Manufacturers are pushing netbooks as the affordable computer to buy in the current “challenging” economy.

Netbooks are not just hype. My uncle who is not so tech savvy just got an Asus EEEPC 900 (160Gb harddisk).

Current price for that model is RM 1200-1400.

Nowadays you only need enough to browse the web, run Microsoft Office, do some Power Points, play chess online, run Fritz/Rybka and email. Netbooks are just great for these things.

Trilogy of Terror dvd

This is on Maxis fixed line but of course the speed is not that fast. It’s fluctuating between 100-200 KB./s. Still not bad. I guess the damaged underwater internet cables has been fixed.

I’m getting my daily dose of podcast programs to listen while I do my work.
