Of course I lost to Dollah in Round 4. Abdullah Che Hassan is 4/5. Syakir, Nabil and Stonemaster are joint leaders going into the final round. All three are at 4.5/5. Personally I’m satisfied having got my 50% (3/5).

The organiser said to reach before 8:30am to confirm. I only reached the train station at 8:20am. Oh well, I don’t have to play. I brought along my notebook plus Celcom prepaid broadband so I guess I can blog about the event.

Jerusalema download Dewan MBSA – the playing venue. It’s surprisingly near the Padang Jawa KTM station. It’s just 4 minutes walk to the venue. How convenient!
The hall is similiar to the tournament near Port Klang organised by Encik Azhar. That was a well organised tournament and I am sure this will be too. I just hope it doesn’t become too hot later in the day.
Not surprising. Encik Azhar is playing a major part in the tournament too. As arbiter.
Abdullah Che Hassan is here. I see Stonemaster having his breakfast and Nabil too. The Zulkafli family is here so I guess the tournament is goubg ti be quite strong.

I’m not recommending this motel because I’ve never stayed there before but IF I were going to Penang Open I’d probably give this a try (after taking a look at the rooms if possible).
It is so far the nearest (and cheapest) accomodation I have found online. Here’s how near it is to the playing hall viewed using Google Earth:-
It’s within walking distance to the playing venue of the Penang Open.
If anybody has a better suggestion on accomodations, please leave a comment.
PS: Someone asked me if the rooms are air-conditioned. According to the website all the rooms are air conned.
