Virus attack!

Well it’s not really a virus but it’s almost as annoying as one. For the past few weeks GILACHESS.COM has been under the attack of malware. It goes to my first page of the website and injects some javascript code that redirects browsers to some malicious malware. Anyway the solution is simple as editing and removing the offending line of code but it seems the attacker repeatedly gets in and inserts the code back again every day. So it has been a tedious work of removing the malware code everyday.

Google however has picked up on times when the code was present and has now ‘blacklisted’ gilachess.com as a malware threat. It is irritating and I am trying to get rid of this annoyance permanently.

Those using Google Chrome or FireFox will no doubt have seen the above if you visit GilaChess.com.

Rest assured it is safe to browse my site (95% of the time anyway) but I’m still working with my webhost to find a solution .
