Mas will be playing White against Li Panru of China. Nothing much is known about Li Panru other than she is an Under 16 junior who finished in 18th place in last year’s World Youth in Turkey. She gained about 60 ELO points since then.

Mas should not underestimate this junior even though she is lowly rated at 2099. Li Panru caused a Round 3 tournament upset by beating IM Chito Garma (ELO 2386)! In Round 2 she held pinoy Jayson Salubre (2329) to a draw. Her only loss was to Myanmar FM Lin Naing Kyaw (2405).
