ASEAN+: A day before the start
Arrived in the late evening at Hotel Concorde.
This is the view outside the window of one of the hotel room.

Hotel internet rates are really expensive. Here in Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam, they charge RM 57 for 24 hours of
Internet. What makes it expensive is that the timer starts as soon as you use it. It doesn’t matter if you turn off and disconnect to sleep, the timer continues until your 24 hours your time is up.
Anyway, a total of over 70 teams have registered for this event and tomorrow is the start of Round 1 at 9am. With that many team, last minute changes in the team lineup is inevitable. Here’s the team meeting the night before the tournament.

Alberto of Spain has the unenviable task of rekeying in all the changes submitted by parents and team captains.

It’s the first time I’m involved in a scholastic event of this size.
I will be reporting from this event via this blog and also updating the official website:-
