Questions to ask chess players

Questions to ask:
1. When did you start playing chess?
2. How many hours do you spend on chess?
3. On a scale of 0-10 how do you rate DATMO?
4. [...]

At least as far as online coverage is concerned. I will be giving this 100% more effort compared to the past DATMOs as this will be the 5th and last Malaysian Open.
The tournament website has been registered and I’m setting up the various sections. The template I’ll be using very similiar to http://nc08.gilachess.com
It was purposely [...]
Map To Tanjung Karang tourney
Here’s the map to the Tanjung Karang tournament this Saturday. The organiser sent me this on the 14th July but I did not have time to post it simply because the map was in PowerPoint format. Finally got around to converting it to a web friendly graphics.

As different as day and night
I just completed most of my work and for the first time this week I could browse the web just reading for leisure.
After re-reading Edwin’s absolutely positive article in Chessbase on our 5th and final Malaysian Open, I read this blog post written by Peter Long that is totally the opposite.
The title above [...]

Chess in Malaysia getting serious?
The number of people getting involved in chess has certainly picked up. Chess in schools has grown by leaps and bounds compared to past years. Hence it’s only natural more people are seeking coaching and training in chess to improve their skills in the game. Even though surviving off chess as a professional player [...]

Hantu Chess!
Here’s another new chess blog titled Chess dan Dot dot dot,,, I want to promote and it’s by Ahmad Eizran Ezra. He is no pushover in chess either. I’m impressed by Eizran’s play in the Taylor as he quietly beat strong players such as Ismail Ahmad, Abdullah Che Hassan, Nur Shazwani and Cheah Cheok [...]
Wan Khye Theng’s blog

Luckily a quick Google search confirmed I have [...]
