Philippino Julio Catalino Saddora is no stranger to Malaysian chess as he has played here for the last 3 Malaysian Opens. He was studying for a while in Singapore. Here’s a game where he defeated the 1st (2005) DATMO champion GM Ni Hua on the White side of a Queen’s Gambit in the recent 2nd PGMA Cup in Phillipines a few weeks back. Ni Hua is about 200 ELO points ahead of Saddora.
