Round 4 updates
Sorry I didn’t have time to update on last night’s round 4 which was played at 7-11 pm. It was certainly tiring just sitting there entering the games for the bulletin. Not surprising that almost half of all the boards ended up in a draw. (update: 14 boards drew in Round 4)
NM Kamal Abdullah had a completely winning position in the following game but stumbled just before delivering the killing move.
Kamal commented that he thought that he had already captured the f8 bishop with his rook when he played d3.
